Request for Offer "Organization of the Fourth Edition of the Student Design Competition"

What we expect from applicants:


Applicants are asked for feasible proposals that can range from everyday furniture to miniature objects for everyday use.

Prizes: First place 500 EUR | Second place 300 EUR | Third place 200 EUR and public prize of 300 EUR

All other finalists will be awarded certificates of participation and their designs will be published in the official student design competition catalog.


Projects will be evaluated based on the following evaluation form where:

  • Innovation is worth 50% and
  • Design is worth 30%
  • The possibility of market launch is worth 20%

  • Application deadline: November 30, 2022

    Application Criteria


    Candidates interested in the Student Design Competition should complete and submit the application below. Along with their application form, candidates must submit: One or more perspective 3D images (Render) or high-resolution axonometry with minimum dimensions of 1920x1080 pixels saved as a JPEG file, where the background is preferably white.


    4 elevated levels


    The purpose of this competition is to expand awareness regarding the importance of design competition in the woodworking sector by strengthening the design capacities and development of the local BDSP market that is already present within the university and specialized schools. The purpose of this competition is to continue improving communication between designers and manufacturers of wood products, especially furniture by presenting it as a collective activity in order to achieve success for designers and SMEs. Through this activity funded by USAID EMPOWER Private Sector, SHPDK aims to publish a 'policy forum', a business-to-business (B2B) meeting, marketing strategy and workshop, fair, product design competition and bring people together. to show Kosovo's capacities in the wood processing sector and to advocate for further improvement of the business environment.
