ABOUT US
The Association of Wood Processors of Kosovo (AWPK) was established in 2004. The AWPK is a nonprofit organization for companies in the wood processing sector. The role of the AWPK is to support these companies, and advocate on their behalf at legislative and regulatory levels. The AWPK promotes the interests of the wood processing companies of Kosovo. The AWPK supports these companies to expand networking with local and international businesses, improve products and quality, upgrade technologies, and increase productivity, with the ultimate focus of increasing exports.
Mission
Our mission is to:
Promote made in Kosovo wood products
Identify potential foreign clients and business partners
Increase membership and support our members with participation in international fairs, business missions, meetings and B2B events
Provide professional training for the industry existing and future workforce
Offer guidance to Kosovo manufacturers and help them be competitive in the international and local markets
Assist companies in following global and modern trends in their sector
Give them the necessary support in establishing themselves as well-known brands.
Vision
The vison of AWPK is to enable a thriving environment for development of the wood processing sector. It seeks to achieve this by enlisting the support of relevant stakeholders from both the public and private sector. The vision of AWPK is to ensure a significant increase of exports and creating competitive value for made in Kosovo products.
