On November 26, 2024, the Wood Industry Convention is organized
Objectives of the Convention:
• Competitiveness, potential, export and development of the wood processing industry in Kosovo.
• E-commerce and digitization in the wood industry
• Cooperation between academia and the private sector in order to encourage and develop innovation
• Support from various international and institutional partners in Kosovo.
• Increasing public awareness of the importance of the wood and furniture sector for employment and economic growth.
• Networking and Internationalization of the Wood Industry of Kosovo.
Part of the Convention will be the forums where local and international experts will present on key topics of the wood industry.
The convention will also feature an exhibition of wood products and materials, wood technology, business-to-business (B2B) meetings, student design competitions where design students will present their designs, and a ceremony where prizes are awarded to the winners of the design competition.
The Convention of the Wood Industry of Kosovo is organized by the Association of Wood Processors of Kosovo (SHPDK).
