Fitore Syla, a designer and artist from Prishtina, focuses on interior design and sustainable products that combine tradition with beauty to create meaningful objects. With years of experience, she explores new materials, shapes and colors, promoting endless possibilities through innovative design.
At the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Fitore Syla will present Leka Lighting and the AJO Mirror, two designs that combine tradition, sustainability and re-creation. Leka Lighting transforms gourds—historically important in Albanian culture and once used for washing—into unique lamps that honor heritage through re-creation and ecological design.
The AJO Mirror is inspired by the Goddess on the Throne, a terracotta figure from the Neolithic period that symbolizes the rich history of Prishtina. Dedicated to all the women who support and inspire each other, this mirror symbolizes resilience, courage and pursuing dreams despite challenges.
