🌟 Wood Industry Convention 2025 – Successfully Concluded! 🌟
With over 300 participants, the eighth edition of the Wood Industry Convention, organized by SHPDK – Kosovo Wood Processors Association, concluded with great success and positive energy!
🎤 We were honored by the presence of the following guests at the opening ceremony: 🇽🇰 Albin Kurti, Prime Minister of Kosovo 🇽🇰 Rozeta Hajdari, Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade 🇱🇺 Eric Dietz, Head of the Embassy of Luxembourg in Kosovo 🇸🇪 Jonas Westerlund, Ambassador of Sweden to Kosovo
Throughout the day, the following activities took place: 💡 5 thematic sessions focusing on digitalization, workforce development, interinstitutional cooperation, the role of academia, and support for the sector.
🏭 An exhibition featuring 25 local and international companies from the wood processing industry, technology, and modern materials.
🤝 B2B meetings aimed at creating new partnerships and expanding export opportunities.
🎓 Student project exhibition as part of the design competition.
🏆 The Convention concluded with the Student Design Competition Awards Ceremony, where the finalists were recognized and the three best projects of this edition were awarded.

The eighth edition of the Wood Industry Convention was organized by Shoqata e Përpunuesve të Drurit të Kosovës (SHPDK) and supported by the LuxDev - Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency project “Skills for Sustainable Employment in Kosovo”, the FEGO Project Kosovo funded by the Government of Sweden, ProCredit Bank, as well as the project “Matching Skills to Jobs (MSJ)” funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and implemented by Swisscontact.
